Where Your Roofing Ads Run

Google Ads

No doubt about it, Google Ads is our #1 revenue driver for clients. Your roofing company shows up right when a homeowner searches for a roofer, maximizing your return on investment.

Microsoft Ads

Let's face it, plenty of homeowners never change the browser that came on the computer they bought at a big box store. Bing is how we reach them.

We Are Fully Armed Marketing

Owned and operated by a Marine Corps veteran, Fully Armed was born in the ashes of working in digital marketing agencies for the better part of a decade. We took notes, and kept receipts on what not to do. We won’t be driven by “bottom lines”; we want lasting relationships with the roofers and home service businesses we work with. Sure, you’ll pay us, but you won’t feel bad about it.

Google Ads for Roofers: Straight Answers

Why hire a Google Ads agency that specializes in roofing companies?

Mostly because of what we learn across accounts. We manage Google Ads for roofing companies in different service areas, and every time we find searches that waste money in one account (people looking for roofing jobs, DIY repair how-tos, roofing materials for a shed, or work roofers don’t do), we add them to a shared roofing negative keyword list that protects every roofing account we run. So you benefit from what we learn across all of them, and a new client starts with a list that’s already built up instead of paying to learn the same lessons from scratch. Because our clients are in different areas, it’s learning they share, not budget they compete over. On top of that, you get ad copy, landing pages and tracking built for roofing, so we count real calls and form fills, not just clicks. Before you hire, ask these 7 questions to ask before you hire.

What does a Google Ads agency for roofing companies actually do?

We build and run your Google Ads so they show up when homeowners search for the roofing work you want. That means picking the right searches, writing the ads, blocking junk clicks and searches that will never become a roof, and checking which searches bring in real leads. Then we keep tuning it month after month, and we tell you in plain English what we changed and why.

How much does Google Ads management for roofers cost?

There are two parts: your ad budget, which goes to Google, and our management fee. We walk you through both up front, in plain English, before you sign anything, so you know exactly where every dollar goes.

Should my roofing company run Local Services Ads or Search Ads?

It depends on your reviews, how fast you answer the phone, and which jobs you want most. For a lot of roofers, the honest answer is both. We break it down in Local Services Ads vs. Search Ads for Roofers.

How long does it take for Google Ads to work for a roofing company?

Your ads can start showing as soon as they’re live and approved. The bigger gains come from optimizing over time: cutting wasted searches, sharpening the ads, and learning which searches bring in the best leads. We won’t promise overnight miracles, because nobody honest can.

Do you only work with roofers?

Roofing companies are our focus, and we also run Google Ads for other home service businesses. We’re based in Waterford, PA (here’s our Google Ads management in Erie page), and work with companies across the United States.

How do roofers review their Google Ads search terms?

Open the search terms report in Google Ads, sort by cost, and add any search that won't become a roofing customer as a negative keyword. The report lists the actual searches that triggered your ads (Google Ads Help). Weekly is the bare minimum for a roofer running their own ads. Fully Armed Marketing checks clients' search terms every day, weekends included.

  1. Open the report. In Google Ads, select Campaigns, then Insights and reports, then Search terms.
  2. Pick a date range. Choose the last 7 days for a weekly review, or the time since your last check.
  3. Sort by cost. Sort by cost so the searches that spent the most are at the top.
  4. Mark junk searches. Flag any search that isn't a homeowner hiring a roofer in your area: job seekers, DIY, materials shoppers, research-only searches and places you don't serve.
  5. Add negatives. Add the word or phrase that makes it junk to your shared negative keyword list, choosing broad, phrase or exact match.
  6. Recheck. Next review, confirm good searches aren't being blocked and remove any negative that's too broad.
